Nour Jomaa is an Associate Litigation Lawyer at Stipic Weisman LLP.
Nour maintains a comprehensive litigation practice, encompassing civil and commercial litigation, including employment disputes, injunctions, fraud cases, and estates litigation, with a specific focus on breach of fiduciary obligations and power of attorney disputes. He has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, including notable appearances at the Court of Appeal. Recently, he successfully opposed an Application for Leave to Appeal at the Supreme Court of Canada.
Since his admission to the Ontario Bar in 2018, Nour has consistently applied a rigorous and thoughtful approach to his legal career. A proud graduate of Leicester Law School, he received recognition for his skills in legal analysis and persuasive argumentation, earning the Best Mooter of the Year award and achieving victories in the Senior Mooting and Speed Mooting Competitions. Additionally, he reached the finals in both the Junior Mooting Competition and the esteemed Landmark Chambers Property Moot in London, England.
Nour’s commitment to legal excellence extends beyond his formal education. He continues to pursue professional legal education, earning prestigious certifications such as the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop from Osgoode in 2019, the Civil Litigation Skills Certificate from The Advocates’ Society in 2019, and the Certificate in Oral Advocacy from Osgoode in 2022.
Born and raised in Windsor, Nour is deeply connected to his community and takes pride in giving back. He served nearly ten years as a Navy Reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces, an experience that instilled in him discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of duty. Nour currently holds memberships with The Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Essex Law Association, actively contributing to the legal profession and staying abreast of developments in his field.
